Day 1: Madrid – Granada
Start your journey with a private transfer from the heart of Madrid to Granada, the jewel of the last Muslim kingdom on the Iberian Peninsula. Enjoy a tour of the beautiful landscapes of La Mancha, where you can learn about the famous story of Don Quixote. After a typical lunch in La Mancha, continue to Granada, where your first stop will be at the beginning of the Camino Mozárabe. Welcome dinner with local flavors.
Day 2: Granada
Visit the impressive Alhambra, Spain's most visited monument, with a local guide who will show you all the secrets of this medieval fortress. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the old town of Granada, followed by a spectacular dinner with a vibrant flamenco show in the Sacromonte Caves, with views of the Alhambra.
Day 3: Granada – Córdoba (Walking stage: 8 km)
Start your pilgrimage with a tranquil stage through almond and olive tree landscapes, ascending to Moclín, a picturesque village offering spectacular views. After a typical lunch in Moclín, transfer by vehicle to Córdoba, the former capital of the caliphate, for a night with an equestrian show at the Alcázar.
Day 4: Córdoba
Visit the majestic Mezquita-Catedral of Córdoba, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. Walk through the city’s old town, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. After a meal at a traditional restaurant, enjoy free time to learn more about the city or relax.
Day 5: Córdoba – Mérida (Walking stage: 13 km)
Venture into the tranquil nature of the Córdoba mountains until you reach the Ermita de la Virgen de Guía. After a picnic in a picturesque setting, transfer to Mérida, the ancient Roman capital of Lusitania, to discover its impressive Roman Theater and other monuments of the era.
Day 6: Mérida
In Mérida, explore the Roman legacy with an expert guide who will take you through the Roman Theater, Circus, and the National Museum of Roman Art. Enjoy free time to explore the city and its surroundings.
Day 7: Mérida – Cáceres (Walking stage: 8 km)
Enjoy a pleasant walking stage through the beautiful landscapes of the Via de la Plata, passing by ancient Roman milestones. Upon arrival in Cáceres, a UNESCO World Heritage site, stay in the historic center and enjoy a guided tour of its medieval monuments.
Day 8: Cáceres – Salamanca (Walking stage: 13 km)
Walk through the green fields of the Via de la Plata until reaching the Roman ruins of Caparra. After a picnic, head to Salamanca, the birthplace of Spain's oldest university, for free time to explore its historic center.
Day 9: Salamanca – Zamora (Walking stage: 13.5 km)
Today’s stage passes through Castilian lands, known for their vast cereal fields. Once in Zamora, enjoy a stay at the Castillo del Buen Amor, an impressive medieval castle transformed into a luxury hotel, where you will enjoy a special dinner.
Day 10: Castillo del Buen Amor – Allariz (Walking stage: 11 km)
Explore the mountainous landscapes of Galicia, walking towards the historic Puebla de Sanabria. After the stage, continue to Allariz, a beautiful Galician village with a charming medieval center, where you will spend the night.
Day 11: Cea – Castro Dozón (Walking stage: 18 km)
The Camino continues through the rural landscapes of Galicia, reaching the Cistercian Monastery of Oseira, a peaceful and beautiful place. After the walk, transfer to the hotel for a relaxing dinner.
Day 12: Castro Dozón – Taboada (Walking stage: 21 km)
Walk through beautiful rural landscapes, passing by Romanesque churches and picturesque villages. The stage ends at the beautiful Roman Bridge of Taboada, an emblematic point of the Camino. Dinner and rest at a traditional rural house.
Day 13: Taboada – Castro Seixo (Walking stage: 21 km)
Continue your journey through Galicia, surrounded by nature and rural traditions. After the walk, transfer to the hotel for a well-deserved dinner and rest.
Day 14: Castro Seixo – Piñeiro (Walking stage: 19 km)
Begin the final stretch of the route to Santiago, walking through pine and eucalyptus tree landscapes as you approach the province of A Coruña. At the end of the stage, enjoy a special dinner and rest at your accommodation.
Day 15: Piñeiro – Santiago de Compostela (Walking stage: 4.5 km)
On the final day of your pilgrimage, your efforts will be rewarded with your arrival at the Cathedral of Santiago. Attend the Pilgrim’s Mass with the famous Botafumeiro. This is the culmination of your Camino, which will lead you to a hotel for a farewell dinner and unforgettable memories.
Day 16: Fisterra – Muxía – Santiago
To conclude your experience, visit Finisterre, the "end of the world" for the ancient Romans. Continue to Muxía, another important point of the Camino, where you’ll enjoy a seafood lunch before returning to Santiago.
Day 17: Santiago de Compostela
The trip concludes with a tour of the city of Santiago, discovering its history and the legends surrounding the Cathedral. After free time, transfer to the airport or train station for your return.
